Quality InspectorGrand Rapids, MIFull-Time | $21/hrShift: 1st and 2nd availableJob ResponsibilitiesInspect furniture components and finished products for defects, damage, and adherence to company specifications.Perform dimensional checks, visual inspections, and functional tests using hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.Document inspection results and communicate non-conformances to production supervisors and quality leads.Work closely with production teams to identify root causes of defects and assist in corrective actions.Approve or reject materials and finished products based on quality standards.Maintain accurate quality records, inspection forms, and documentation required for audits.Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product consistency.QualificationsPrevious experience in quality inspection, preferably in furniture, wood products, or manufacturing.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects quickly and accurately.Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and gauges.Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.#TSTRATHP
