Value Stream Manager
Position Summary
Leads a designated production area to ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery, quality, safety, and cost performance. Owns value stream execution by coordinating cross-functional support and driving continuous improvement aligned with the company Operating System.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for customer delivery and quality issues within the value stream.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics) to meet production goals.
- Lead daily/weekly area meetings and continuous improvement activities.
- Engage, coach, and develop team members; encourage employee-driven improvements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety standards.
- Manage KPIs including headcount, labor cost, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Use manufacturing systems data to support cost control and performance analysis.
- Provide timely performance feedback and evaluations.
- Support project start-ups and new product launches.
- Ensure adherence to QMS and EMS requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manage, train, direct, and evaluate the assigned production area in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain management.
- Proven leadership and continuous improvement experience.
