Job Title: Machine Assembler
Location: Rockford, MI
Pay: $18-23/hr depending on experience
Shift: 1st Shift 6am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Position Summary:
As an Entry-Level Machine Assembler, you will assemble conveyor systems and components under the guidance of experienced team members. This role is ideal for candidates looking to start a career in manufacturing and gain hands-on mechanical assembly experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble conveyor systems, parts, and subassemblies according to blueprints, work instructions, and safety standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to ensure accurate and high-quality assembly.
- Inspect components and completed assemblies for proper fit, function, and quality.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and staging finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow company safety procedures and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No prior experience required; training provided.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn assembly processes.
- Ability to read simple blueprints or instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a team environment.
