Talent Stack LLC is supporting a premier Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) program seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support mission-critical national security systems. This is a high-impact role working onsite in Aurora, CO within a classified environment.
If you have deep experience in systems engineering lifecycle, requirements development, interface control, validation & verification, and Agile government programs, this is built for you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead requirements decomposition and traceability
- Develop and analyze Concept of Operations (ConOps)
- Define and manage system interfaces (ICDs)
- Support verification & validation (V&V) planning and execution
- Contribute to test architecture design and regression testing
- Support baseline definition and technical reviews
- Collaborate across cross-functional engineering teams
- Operate within an Agile systems engineering environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
- 5 years of Systems Engineering experience on government programs
Experience with:
- Requirements definition & management
- Functional analysis
- Interface definition and control
- Systems engineering lifecycle processes
- Experience supporting DoD or classified contracts
- Experience with Agile principles and Agile roles
- Active TS/SCI clearance required prior to start
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Experience
- Mission management ground systems or space-based platforms
- Agile development tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- MBSE tools (Cameo Systems Modeler)
- DOORS or other requirements databases
- Space, ISR, satellite, or defense ground systems experience
Clearance Requirement
Active Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required at time of submission. Candidates without the required clearance cannot be considered.
