Shipping Coordinator

Shipping Coordinator 8:00am-4:30pm

Position Summary: Working under general supervision of the Post Production Supervisor, the Shipping Coordinator will coordinate and organize the packaging and processing of all outbound orders, jobs, and parts efficiently and error free to meet strict customer and quality requirements in a timely manner. The Shipping Coordinator will inspect all packlist and packages for errors in count, spelling, destination selection errors etc. then correct and/or approve by stamping off prior to releasing the shipment. The Shipping Coordinator will also manage the processing of incoming shipments (P.O. Receiving & Job Receiving) as they arrive and coordinate the delivery to their intended recipient.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve an Error Free-Daily Shipment Forecast o Organize

▪ Workload of the Shipping Clerk and Shipping Packager

▪ Courier scheduling

▪ Reduce clutter daily and keep a clean/organized Shipping & Receiving area. o Audit and correct pack lists, counts and labels o Troubleshoot customer and courier portals o Escalate communications

▪ Purchasing

▪ Sales

▪ Supervisor ▪ Manager

• Receiving Champion o Ensure all inbound items are received in a timely manner. o Coordinate the internal delivery of inbound shipments.

• Perform backup duties when needed. Key backup functions will be Shipping Clerk & Packaging.

• As assigned, complete special projects and administrative duties in support of the Post Production Department and the Post Production Supervisor.

• Most follow safety rules at all times. Use proper lifting techniques at all times, use proper safety equipment and/or ask for helps when needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• 1 year of prior experience working in a warehouse/shipping environment is preferred.

• Forklift Driving Certification. Must be able to drive a forklift. Forklift training and certificate will be provided by Roncelli Plastics

• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Internet.

Shipping Coordinator

• Knowledge ad previous use of computer systems/manufacturing software programs such as JobBOSS or Docuware is a plus.

• Experience working in shipping, inventorying and or a warehouse environment is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently is essential.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
