Shift Details

• Shift: 5x8s
• Start times: 0630, 0900, 1100, 1445
• Weekend Requirement: Only as needed
• On-call Requirement: As needed
• Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs
  
  

Case Requirements

• Required Types of Cases: CVOR, spine, orthopedics, vascular, general surgery, and robotics
• Preferred Types of Cases: XI robotics
  
  

Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: 2
• First-timers Accepted: No
• National Certifications Required: BLS and NBSTSA
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (100-mile radius restriction)
• Pending State License: Accepted
• Requested Time Off Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
  
  

Special Requirements

• Required Work Setting Experience: CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR
• Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
• Required Vascular Case Skills/Experience: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic assisted cases, TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), Vein stripping
• Required Thoracic Case Skills/Experience: Laparoscopic assisted cases, Lung resection- Thoracotomy, VATS
• Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic Technique, Isolation Precautions, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Sterilization/Disinfection, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure
