SR SEO ANALYST

Position Overview:

This position calls for an experienced and talented SEO professional who will support the development, execution, and ongoing optimization of the SEO strategy for multiple *** domains, subdomains, and mobile apps.

• Develop and prioritize implementation of SEO recommendations for designated *** domains and subdomains.
• Collaborate with IT (Client and vendor) teams in support of SEO initiatives.
• Drive early integration of SEO requirements into the web development process.
• Monitor Google Webmaster and other SEO tools to identify and investigate existing or emerging issues that may have a negative impact on SEO.
• Develop performance dashboard and analytics metrics and KPIs.
• Deliver project analysis, monthly recaps, and other routine reports.
• Work with 3rd party consultants/vendors, leveraging various internal and external analytics tools to measure and report upon performance.
• Troubleshoot and identify technical or quality-related issues that might be affecting the overall organic traffic and rankings.
• Set goals and develop plans to execute against goals.
• Stay on top of Google algorithm changes and evolving best practices to support SEO health.
• Support backlinking and other strategic programs as requested by SEO Manager.
• Responsible for producing detailed functional requirements documents for onsite search enhancements.
• Work closely with IT and other operational resource colleagues to see through timely implementation, testing, and release to production.
• Monitor and measure results.
• Work collaboratively with Digital Analytics and SEO colleagues, Creative Media (UX), Web Operations, IT, PMO, Ontology, and other groups to establish and implement taxonomy, data standards, guidelines, and best practices to optimize search relevance.
• Prefer a minimum of 2 years managing SEO at the enterprise level.
• SQL and big data mining experience.
• SEO technical experience.
• SEO certification is a plus.

SEO for the MCL test catalog

Background & Objective:

Laboratories (MCL) is seeking an SEO partner to help us identify and compete for high-value search traffic that aligns with current business priorities. Our focus is on leveraging SEO best practices and tooling to help drive content optimization targeting search opportunities related to our current test catalog.

Scope of Services:

• Keyword, Topic & Opportunity Identification
• Identify and prioritize search topics that have significant and relevant organic search demand and align with *** Laboratories’ test catalog and strategic priorities.
• Represent opportunities where MCL can realistically compete for and grow share of search.
• Prioritize topics that are relevant for target MCL audiences and applicable for our primarily B2B model.
• Competitive & Share of Search Analysis
• Identify which competitors are currently leading in share of search for both traditional search results and generative AI.
• Assess relative strengths and weaknesses at the topic level.
• Quantify current and potential share of search.
• Clearly articulate where MCL is underrepresented, competitive, or advantaged.
• Insights should be framed to support efforts to compete for traffic that align with MCL priorities.
• Content Analysis
• Align topic keywords with user intent.
• Assist in audience and task analysis related to the identified topics.
• Assess current MCL content supporting those tasks and find opportunities for optimization.
• Plan new and changed content to target those topics.

• Improved organic visibility and share of search in prioritized topics.
• Growth in qualified, non-branded organic traffic.
• Creation of scalable, repeatable topic and content frameworks.
• Clear alignment between SEO efforts and MCL business priorities.
  
  

Requirements:

• Essential: Experience optimizing for B2B use cases.
• Strongly preferred: Experience with SEMRush, GEO, AI search visibility.
• Strongly preferred: Experience working with technical product catalogs.
• Strongly preferred: Experience working with Adobe tools, especially customer journal analytics (CJA).
