What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse - Telemetry position at TALENT Software Services?
Duties
- Provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.
- Care for patients with various diagnoses such as CHF, AMS, NSTEMI, COPD, and more.
- Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed.
- Float between units as required.
- Work weekends and adhere to a flexible schedule, including 6 shifts within a 6-week period.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system.
- IV therapy/Phlebotomy.
- Central line care/management.
- Peripheral Line Care/Management.
- Management of dysrhythmias.
- Telemetry monitoring.
- Isolation Precautions/PPE.
- Wound Care/Wound Vac.
- Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac.
- Oxygen administration and management.
- Tracheostomy care/management.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in managing a patient ratio of 1:4-5.
- Preferred experience in Trauma Level II facilities.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; additional certifications preferred.
Salary : $40 - $45
