Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience; neuro experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Skills: Telemetry, Vents, IV Start, Drips.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Skills: Triage, ICP, Conscious Sedation, Charge Nurse Experience.
• Certifications: CCRN, TNCC, CPI.
  
  

Job Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:4, with a maximum of 24 patients.
• Shifts: 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15); 36 and 48-hour weeks available.
• Contract Length: 13 - 26 weeks.
• RTO: Maximum of 7 days.
• Floating: Required to other intermediate and critical care areas.
• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.
  
  

Additional Information

• Unit Systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
• Scrubs: Navy blue and white combinations.
• Orientation: 32 hours, including an 8-hour computer class and two shifts on the unit.
