What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiation Therapist position at TALENT Software Services?
Duties
- Manage a daily caseload of approximately 25 patients per day.
- Utilize ARIA skillset and Varian 21 EX/iX equipment for treatment.
- Participate in treatment planning and dose calculation using Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian) systems.
- Perform external beam therapy and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).
- Ensure proper radiation safety and use of isolation precautions/PPE.
- Competency in adult acute care pretreatment, tumor localization, and beam modifying/positioning.
- Proficiency in custom molds, shields, block cutting, and portal casting.
- Experience with B-mode acquisition targeting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and compensation filters.
- Familiarity with lift/transfer devices and rapid response/code teams.
- Age-specific competency for young, middle, and older adults.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in radiation therapy.
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT (T) (Radiation Therapy), CA State License.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
Salary : $70 - $75
