What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse - Operating Room position at TALENT Software Services?
Duties
- Providing high-quality patient care in the Operating Room with a focus on orthopedic surgeries and general procedures.
- Participating in interdisciplinary support and collaboration to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Managing on-call duties as needed, with a flexible schedule that includes 5x8 hour shifts starting at various times.
- Adhering to facility guidelines and maintaining a high standard of practice in a teaching hospital environment.
- Strong orthopedic surgical skills, with general surgery as a secondary focus.
- Proficiency in using the Epic charting system.
- Experience with a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to vascular, gynecology, plastics, podiatry, orthopedic, cardiovascular, general surgery, urology, robotics, bariatrics, and neurology.
- Ability to scrub in various surgeries, including arthroscopic and orthopedic surgeries.
- At least 1 year of strong Operating Room experience.
- Experience working in a community hospital setting.
- Travel nursing experience is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
