Required Skills And Certifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Traveler experience required
  • Skills: LDRP, Mother/Baby, Assist with sterile speculum exam, Use of EFM, Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Breastfeeding support
  • Certifications: BLS, AWHONN, NRP

Preferred Skills And Certifications

  • Experience with EPIC

Job Details

  • Patient Ratios: 1:4
  • Shift: Nights 1845-0715; 13 weeks
  • Call Requirement: 2 mandatory call shifts per 6-week schedule
  • Float Requirement: Assist other units
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Unit Details

  • Patient Diagnoses: LDRP and Mother/Baby
  • Special Procedures: Couplet Care Ratios 1:4
  • Unit Systems: EPIC, Pyxis, SBAR
  • Scheduling Type: Self
  • Unit Orientation: 32 hours
  • Scrubs: Cecil blue hospital-issued or navy
