Daily Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, and system testing on technical solutions to identify, isolate, and resolve defects.
- Initiate test cycles, analyze results, and recommend solutions to technical issues.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, QA strategies, UAT processes, and test cases in collaboration with Product Management and Software Development teams.
- Maintain SDLC traceability from business requirements through test cases and software components.
- Design and execute UI testing, regression testing, negative testing, and usability testing.
- Validate software applications for reliability, stability, and performance.
- Design, execute, and oversee automated testing scripts, ensuring proper deployment and execution.
- Participate in defect triage, retesting, validation, and resolution activities.
- Create and maintain quality assurance documentation, test reports, and metrics.
- Adhere to established software testing governance policies, standards, and best practices; recommend process improvements.
- Conduct reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections in compliance with governance standards.
- Communicate testing status, risks, and defects clearly to Development teams and stakeholders.
- Publish regular status reports detailing open issues, gaps, and testing progress.
- 5 years translating business requirements or policy documentation into detailed test cases and test scenarios
- 5 years building and executing test cases and scenarios within test management systems
- 3 years of in-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, preferably Medicaid, including related business processes
- 3 years of hands-on experience with formal test design tools
- 5 years experience working with large enterprise or e-business systems
- 3 years experience using manual and/or automated testing tools such as:
- Azure DevOps
- Atlassian JIRA
- Confluence
- 3 years experience working within:
- Standard SDLC (Waterfall) methodologies
- Agile delivery environments
- Bachelor's degree in Technical, Business, Healthcare, or a related field
- Equivalent years of professional experience may substitute for formal education
- None required
- Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized institutions are desirable
Salary : $48 - $55
