Project/Program Manager - Event Management

Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Management Program and Project Manager to join our team. This role involves managing and executing large-scale events and programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management and project management.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

E2E Event Planning and Execution:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale events and programs
• Develop detailed event project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including teams, vendors, and partners, to ensure seamless event execution.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues that arise.

Project Management:

• Apply best practices in project management to oversee all aspects of event projects, from inception to completion.
• Utilize Microsoft Project or similar tools to manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables effectively.

Technology Integration:

• Ensure the integration of technologies and platforms in event planning and execution, including Teams, Azure, Power BI, and other relevant tools.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure all events meet high standards and deliver exceptional attendee experiences.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and within approved limits.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on the quality of events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) in event management and project management, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and platforms (Teams, Azure, Power BI, etc.).
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana, or similar.
