Minimum Education

Job Requirements
Minimum Education
- B.S. in Pharmacy, PharmD, or Master of Pharmacy
- Completion of continuing education as required by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
- Previous hospital experience with clinical responsibilities
- Active pharmacist license in the state of Texas
- Sterile Compounding Certification
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS (based on practice area)
- TSBP Preceptor registration
- Ability to assess, document, and perform physician consultations, including all medication dosing consults (excluding total parenteral nutrition)
- Proficiency in performing home medication reconciliation
- Ability to provide educational presentations to pharmacy staff and other departments as needed
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
