Outpatient Pharmacist

Job Summary

The Outpatient Pharmacist is responsible for receiving and processing prescription drug orders, utilizing clinical knowledge to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care. This position ensures medications are dispensed and delivered safely, accurately, and in accordance with prescriber instructions. The pharmacist also supervises tasks delegated to pharmacy technicians and technician trainees.

Minimum Education

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Active Texas registered pharmacist license
