Project Scope
- Support day-to-day cloud infrastructure operations and administration.
- Assist with AWS and Azure cloud migrations as the organization transitions to a managed Cloud Management Platform (CMP) and cloud broker model.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure while maintaining business continuity.
- Perform system administration, automation, and development tasks for the Cloud Management Platform (CMP).
- Support cloud infrastructure operations across AWS and Azure environments.
- Collaborate with DTO and customer teams to plan and execute cloud migration activities.
- Maintain continuity and availability of shared cloud services across AWS and Azure.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture, governance, and operational best practices.
- Support automation, continuous deployment, and configuration management initiatives.
- 10 years of experience in Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, DevOps, or Solution/Cloud Architecture.
- 8 years of experience in Technical Architecture.
- 5–7 years of hands-on AWS experience, including:
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- AWS Organizations
- Networking Architectures
- Cost Management and Governance Controls
- 3–5 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including:
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Azure Active Directory (Azure AD/Entra ID)
- Networking Architectures
- Cost Management and Governance Controls
- 3–7 years of Enterprise Cloud Architecture or Cloud Governance experience.
- 3–5 years of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
- 3–5 years of Cloud Migration and Platform Operations experience.
- 3 years of Technical Leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.
- Strong expertise in Public Cloud Infrastructure (AWS and Azure).
- Advanced expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with cloud scaling technologies and high-availability solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or other public cloud platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization technologies.
- Experience with cloud security, penetration testing, and threat detection tools.
- Experience with:
- ServiceNow
- Datadog
- Dome9
- Aviatrix
- Background in:
- DevOps
- Software Development
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Systems Engineering
- Experience with Configuration Management and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8 years of Technical Architecture experience with relevant hands-on engineering expertise.
- AWS Certifications (Associate or Professional level preferred).
- Microsoft Azure Certifications (Associate or Expert level preferred).
- Consultant is required to work onsite during the first week to become acclimated with the team and environment.
- After the initial onboarding period, the consultant is expected to work 3 days per month onsite.
- The remaining work schedule will be remote.
- The onsite schedule will be coordinated with the hiring manager after the consultant's start date.
- Vendor partners should ensure candidates are aware of and able to meet the onsite requirements.
Salary : $80 - $90
