Typical Day in the Role
- Engage in detailed program management of qualification testing initiatives, including SKU design layout, determining hardware quantities, tracking purchases, and managing lab space and capacity.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to drive timely qualifications and meet production and non-production requirements.
- Lead the scheduling and prioritization of commodity qualifications, ensuring smooth execution with lab teams.
- Work with engineering teams to efficiently track pre-qualification processes and streamline downstream operations.
- Drive automation and process efficiency projects, resolving critical commodity qualification issues to support operational growth.
- Build strong relationships with engineers and technical teams involved in server commodity testing and performance analysis.
- Lead weekly meetings to update and track the progress and status of qualifications with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product qualification teams to map and qualify commodities for next-generation infrastructure deployment.
- Develop analytics to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive operational efficiency using tools like Power BI and ADO.
- Contribute to process and system efficiency improvements to reduce commodity qualification cycle time through analytical solutions.
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in supply chain operations, program management, and cloud hardware management. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Economics.
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience in program management, qualification testing, manufacturing operations, or supply chain.
- At least 2 years of experience in program management, coordination skills, supply chain operations and planning, procurement expertise, and cloud server hardware knowledge.
