Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments.
- Troubleshoot assays and evaluate tests for accuracy.
- Assist with interpreting results and optimizing testing processes.
- Utilize multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.
- May assist with specimen collection and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols when handling infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards.
- Ability to produce accurate results under time constraints.
- Proficiency in multitasking and performing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to accommodate scheduling adjustments, including off-shifts, holidays, on-call, and weekend work assignments.
- Experience with the operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and assay systems.
- Required: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a biological science.
