- Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment daily.
- Record all equipment maintenance and QA monitoring.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and notify supervisors.
- Generate ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular structures.
- Perform accurate echocardiographic studies.
- Ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation.
- May participate in staff training and education.
- Record patient information and maintain data storage systems.
- Enter necessary data for billing and charge entry.
- Retrieve and manage stored ultrasound reports and records.
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use.
- Ensure efficient turnover of rooms between procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- CPR certification required
- At least 1 year performing echocardiograms
Required:
- Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related field OR
- Completion of a 12-month ultrasound program
One of the following required:
- RDCS - ARDMS
- RCS, Client, or RCCS - CCI
