Radiologic Technologist (CT) - MCHS

Job Summary

Produces high-quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet established standards. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures a high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths. Performs other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

• Organized, efficient, and multifunctional.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
• Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
  
  

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist.
• General CT experience.
• Ability to start IVs if needed.
  
  

Schedule Notes

Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with every 4th weekend required. Call required one night per week and on the scheduled weekend.
