Controls Engineer
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Controls Engineer for a contract position in West Branch, IA. The opportunity will be for seven months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing plant processes, designing and implementing improvements, and troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes. The role requires planning preventative maintenance, working collaboratively to detect problems, and implementing solutions while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support
- AC/DC Troubleshooting
- Controls Electrician
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Electrical Systems: AC/DC systems, transformers, generators, motor controls, circuit breakers knowledge
- Blueprint Reading: Interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing and fixing complex electrical issues in industrial machinery
- Mechanical Troubleshooting
Preferred:
- A-B PLC Programming
- Experience as a Controls Engineer
