What You’ll Do
Deliver Math or Science instruction to middle and high school students in a self-contained classroom
Develop and implement curriculum aligned to student IEPs and learning goals
Support students with emotional and behavioral needs in a structured environment
Collaborate with teaching assistants and therapeutic staff to support student success
Maintain a consistent classroom structure and learning routine
Participate in a year-round academic model, including summer programming
Provide classroom coverage as needed using prepared lesson plans
Experience You’ll Need
- Moderate Disabilities 5–12 licensure (or equivalent Special Education certification)
- Experience teaching middle or high school students
- Ability to teach either Math or Science curriculum (subject-specific role)
- Experience working with students with emotional or behavioral needs
- Comfortable in a self-contained classroom setting
- Experience developing and delivering structured lesson plans aligned to IEPs
Preferred (not required):
Content area licensure in Math or Science
Experience in therapeutic, alternative, or specialized school settings
Salary : $40 - $50
