What you will be doing:
- Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation defense matters from inception to resolution
- Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Develop case strategy, including legal research, evidence review, and risk assessment
- Negotiate settlements and drive efficient case resolution
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular case updates
- Collaborate with internal legal teams on litigation strategy
- Contribute to firm growth through business development initiatives
Experience you will need:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar license (required)
- 5 years of workers’ compensation defense experience
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
