Our client, an Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a Procurement Contracts Manager to support the firm's global procurement operations. Reporting to the Procurement Contracts Attorney, this individual will play a key role in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing the firm's procurement agreements across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate combines strong contract law knowledge with the communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills needed to operate effectively in a fast-paced law firm environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, redline, and negotiate procurement-related contractsincluding order forms, MNDAs, SOWs, and MSAsusing the firm's legal playbook to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with firm standards.Maintain and organize the firm's centralized contract management system, tracking renewals, deadlines, deliverables, and execution workflows.Coordinate due diligence and internal reviews with Information Security, Third-Party Risk Management, Privacy, and other internal teams.Serve as a primary liaison with vendors, negotiating terms and conditions and facilitating smooth contract execution.Collaborate closely with legal, finance, risk, and procurement operations teams to support contract lifecycle management and implementation.Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing updates, guidance on contract processes, and policy interpretations.Prepare summaries, reports, and status updates for firm leadership, highlighting obligations, risks, and performance metrics.Assist in developing and improving contract templates, standard clauses, workflows, and internal policies.Ensure proper documentation, storage, and compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.Support contract-related issue resolution and escalate complex matters to the Procurement Contracts Attorney as needed.Stay informed on changing legal and regulatory requirements impacting procurement and contract management.ProficienciesExperience with contract management tools (e.g., DocuSign, ContractWorks, iManage, CLM platforms) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Exceptional attention to detail, organizational capability, and ability to manage competing deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a comfort level interacting with attorneys, vendors, and key stakeholders.High level of discretion with sensitive or confidential information.Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Comfortable operating in a high-volume, client-driven environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field; Paralegal certification a plus.5 years of contract administration experience, preferably within a procurement or legal environment.Strong understanding of contract law principles, legal terminology, and risk/compliance considerations.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, or similar) preferred.Experience supporting global procurement or global legal teams strongly preferred.Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a fast-paced Am Law environment.
Salary : $100,000 - $132,000
