About the Role
Seeking a Graphic Technical Coordinator / Inplant Manager to support printing and ink operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing technical ink support, maintaining print quality standards, supporting press efficiency, coordinating inventory, and serving as the primary technical liaison between production teams and customers.
This is a hands-on position for someone who understands printing operations, color management, and production support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support related to print quality, press performance, and ink systems
- Train personnel on color control, ink management, and production standards
- Coordinate ink deliveries, inventory levels, and production schedules
- Support color matching, formulation management, and quality control processes
- Reduce waste, obsolete materials, and press returns through inventory control initiatives
- Maintain workplace safety, housekeeping, and operational standards
- Coordinate workflow and daily assignments for technical support personnel
- Support compliance reporting, documentation, and recordkeeping activities
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and operational process enhancements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or technical certification preferred
- Experience in printing, ink manufacturing, color management, or a related production environment preferred
- Understanding of printing press operations and ink systems
- Strong communication and customer support skills
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer and documentation skills
