Step into a hands-on leadership role with full 24/7 accountability across perioperative services (OR, PACU, SDS, SPD, Endoscopy). This is a build-and-scale opportunity—drive OR utilization, expand case volume, optimize workflows, and partner with physicians to transform surgical operations.
Responsibilities:
A professional Registered Nurse with twenty-four-hour responsibility for assigned departments within established standards to achieve the mission and vision of BSA. The Nursing Director is responsible for the overall administrative, financial, and clinical activities of the department.
• Directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Contributing to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or actively enrolled/the ability to enroll in a BSN program with mandatory completion within 24 months- required.
• Current New Jersey RN license required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• 2-3 years of demonstrated nursing leadership experience
Preferred Job Requirements:
• Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Acute care experience
