Senior Data Engineer

We’re partnering with a global technology company that designs advanced automation, inspection, and test systems used across automotive, aerospace, and life sciences industries. Their analytics team is expanding and seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help scale a cloud-based analytics platform that powers data-driven insights for customers worldwide.

About the Role

You’ll join a small, highly technical team responsible for building and evolving a data platform that ingests high-volume machine and system data, transforms it into actionable insights, and delivers real-time dashboards and reporting to customers. This is a hands-on, full-lifecycle role spanning data ingestion, transformation, analytics, visualization, and cloud deployment, with meaningful input into platform architecture and reliability.

This role supports government contracts and requires U.S. citizenship. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider non-U.S. citizens for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, and transforming machine-generated data
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor system performance, test results, and operational metrics
• Deploy and support data solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to define data requirements and improve platform robustness
• Integrate APIs and contribute to AI-enabled insights, automation, and anomaly detection initiatives

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or backend development roles
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines / ETL, cloud platforms, and visualization tools (Grafana, Kibana, Power BI, or similar)
• Experience working with logs, telemetry, or system-generated data is a strong plus
• Comfortable operating independently in a small, fast-moving engineering team
