We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Springfield, Missouri.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NP or new graduate interested in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, and post-acute care.
The practice focuses on providing quality care directly within the facility whenever appropriate, helping residents receive timely treatment while reducing unnecessary hospitalizations.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive care to skilled nursing facility residents
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform appropriate therapeutic procedures
- Administer injections and immunizations as needed
- Manage wounds and infections
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Help reduce avoidable hospitalizations through proactive patient management
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) in Missouri
- Missouri nursing license required
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Interest in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care
- New graduate Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply
Previous SNF or long-term care experience is a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- $130,000–$155,000 annual salary
- RVU bonus plan
