What you will do
· Tool Maker
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, die designs, and GD&T
· Build, assemble, and debug progressive dies and advanced tooling
· Operate manual machines (mill, grinder, lathe, drill press) safely and accurately
· Perform die tryouts, repairs, sharpening, and maintenance
· Inspect tooling and parts using precision measuring instruments
· Recommend tooling improvements and document changes
· Mentor Tool & Die Maker I & II employees
· Follow all safety and compliance requirements
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in tool & die making preferred
· 5 years of experience in tool & die making with strong manufacturing background
· Familiarity with CAD software for die design or modification
· Experience with manual machining, advanced die assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently during shifts
· Regularly lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
· Strong vision, dexterity, and focus for detailed precision work
· Physical and mental stamina to perform repetitive tasks safely and effectively
