Alliance Industrial Solutions is hiring 2nd Shift Machine Operators for a manufacturing company in Medina, OH. This is a full-time, hands-on production role operating machinery used to make candles and related products.
Pay: $17-$22/hr, based on experience
Schedule: 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Training: May train on 1st shift
Location: Medina, OH
Start Date: ASAP
Machine Operator Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery, including pouring, extruding, pressing, and dipping equipment
- Measure, record, and adjust machine settings to meet quality standards
- Perform pre-shift machine inspections and basic troubleshooting
- Complete product and machine changeovers
- Adjust dies, molds, wax blends, wicks, blocks, fill heights, and cutting blades
- Monitor raw materials and resolve minor production issues
- Help reduce downtime, scrap, and material waste
- Work with supervisors and production team members to meet daily goals
Machine Operator Requirements
- 6 months of machine operator, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand, move, and work in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable attendance and willingness to learn
