Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain job cost reports from project inception through closeout, including ongoing profit projection
- Build and communicate billing schedules; track payment status for internal stakeholders and trade partners
- Prepare and submit AIA invoices to clients along with required sworn statements
- Maintain proactive client communication to support timely invoice collection
- Collect and process trade partner AIA invoices, sworn statements, supplier lien waivers, and related documentation
- Manage client and trade partner change orders; update job cost reports to reflect approved changes
- Produce over/under variance reports with supporting analysis
- Contribute to change management and project forecasting processes
- Help identify project financial risks and opportunities as they arise
- Ensure adherence to corporate cost control policies and procedure
- Conduct analytical reviews, validations, and audits to satisfy internal and external requirements
- Support and help lead process improvement initiatives within the finance function
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Familiarity with AIA billing documents and lien waiver processes
- 2 years of accounting experience; construction industry exposure a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadline
