One of our clients is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Controller to oversee financial operations within their manufacturing and production division. This is a high-impact role supporting a well-established Southern California infrastructure and construction company with integrated operations across multiple business units.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with operations and management to drive cost control measures
- Oversee inventory management and cost accounting processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Provide financial support for capital projects and investment decisions
- Mentor and lead a team of finance professionals
- Maintain and develop internal control procedures
What We're Looking For
- 7 years of accounting experience
- Construction industry accounting experience required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, including revenue recognition and lease accounting
- Prior experience managing a small team
- CPA and/or CMA certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (intermediate level)
- Experience with JDE, Sage, Timberline, or similar construction ERP a plus
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator
Salary : $150,000 - $185,000
