Salesforce Developer (Lead) – Hybrid

Location: Phoenix, AZ Hybrid (Onsite Remote)

Employment Type: 6 Months Contract

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Salesforce Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive Salesforce development expertise, experience leading Salesforce implementations, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

This role will focus on building, enhancing, and supporting mission-critical applications across Salesforce and integrated enterprise platforms, including MuleSoft, Oracle, and SQL Server environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain Salesforce applications and custom solutions.
  • Lead Salesforce development activities and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, functional teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of existing Salesforce applications.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis and reverse engineering of legacy applications to identify improvements and implement fixes.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using MuleSoft and APIs.
  • Participate in planning, architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of new applications.
  • Ensure compliance with agency standards, technology directives, and security requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, architecture diagrams, and deployment procedures.
  • Support Agile development practices, source control processes, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain development, testing, and production environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR 7 years of software development experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of application development experience.
  • Minimum 3 years serving as Lead Developer on one or more Salesforce implementations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce development, customization, and administration.
  • Experience developing solutions using Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
  • Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Strong experience with MuleSoft integration development.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Ability to analyze existing systems and redesign/refactor solutions for improved performance and scalability.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certifications.
  • Salesforce Public Sector Solutions experience.
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer certification.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, and source control management.
  • Knowledge of government or public sector environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
