We are seeking an experienced Kafka Administrator / Platform Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, secure, and scale highly available Kafka environments supporting mission-critical, real-time data platforms.
Required Skills
- 5 years of hands-on Kafka administration experience, preferably Confluent Kafka.
- Strong experience managing production Kafka clusters.
- Advanced knowledge of Kafka ecosystem components:
- Kafka Connect
- Kafka Streams
- Schema Registry
- MirrorMaker
- ZooKeeper
- KRaft
- Strong Linux administration experience, preferably RHEL and/or Ubuntu.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash/Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka security, ACLs, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for Kafka monitoring and observability.
- Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
