This is fully Onsite for 30-90 days - schedule will turn to hybrid at the managers discretion. We are seeking an experienced.
IT Healthcare Project Manager/Consultant to lead Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) operational management and support critical healthcare systems. The role will oversee system operations, vendor management, incident and release management, and teams supporting Medicaid enrollment, claims, encounters, payments, interfaces, and production support.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Healthcare, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5 years of project/program management experience involving system implementations or enhancements.
- 3 years managing IT system operations or administrative programs within a healthcare environment.
- Strong experience with incident, change, release, vendor, and operational management.
- Ability to provide on-call/after-hours support for incidents and production releases.
- Lead day-to-day operations and support for MMIS, Encounter Processing, and related Medicaid systems.
- Manage vendors, SLAs, incidents, escalations, production issues, and operational risks.
- Lead release and change management activities, including planning, readiness, stakeholder communication, and post-release monitoring.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process flows, desk procedures, and operational documentation.
- Coordinate and mentor teams supporting production, helpdesk, EDI/interfaces, UAT, and stakeholder operations.
- Monitor compliance with CMS, SSA, security, and organizational standards.
- Manage team workloads, facilitate backlog grooming, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Salary : $65 - $70
