Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect
Location: Lancaster, TX (Onsite)
Duration – Long-Term Contract
seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing Azure cloud solutions while driving modernization, migration, governance, and operational excellence across enterprise applications and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises to Azure.
- Define cloud architecture standards, governance, security, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, application teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver cloud-based solutions.
- Architect highly available, secure, and resilient cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance during architecture reviews and solution design discussions.
- Support DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, performance, and operational requirements.
Required Skills
- 10 years of overall IT experience with 5 years as an Azure Architect.
- Strong experience in Azure Cloud Architecture and Solution Design.
- Expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security, and Governance.
- Experience with Azure cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Hands-on experience with AKS, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD implementations.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Identity & Access Management, and Security best practices.
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large enterprise environments and digital transformation programs.
- Experience in Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Retail domains.
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Certification preferred.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Salary : $60 - $70
