We are seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join our client's dynamic Conflicts Department in New York. This role is central to ensuring the firm’s ongoing compliance standards, supporting attorneys with conflict-related queries, and safeguarding overall firm security.
You’ll work closely with the Conflicts Manager, the General Counsel, the Ethics Committee, and partners firm-wide — delivering accurate, timely, and insightful conflict analyses to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and review detailed conflict-of-interest reports using Intapp Conflicts software.
- Conduct corporate and factual research to identify and resolve potential conflict issues.
- Analyze and interpret conflict reports independently with limited supervision.
- Research and maintain corporate family trees and related entity data.
- Retrieve and distribute waiver letters and other documentation as required.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent and compliant conflict-management processes.
About You
- Minimum 1 year of conflicts or legal-assistant experience in a law-firm environment.
- Experience with Intapp Conflicts or similar conflicts-management software essential.
- Deep understanding of conflicts-of-interest laws and procedures.
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel); eager to learn new systems.
- Dependable, proactive, and professional with sound judgment and discretion.
