What are the responsibilities and job description for the Conflicts Analyst position at RemX | The Workforce Experts?
We're looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join our team and help make sure everything runs smoothly when it comes to handling potential conflicts of interest. This role is an important part of our compliance process, you’ll be reviewing and analyzing reports, doing background research, and working closely with attorneys and other teams across the firm. You’ll report to the Conflicts Manager and collaborate with various departments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Running and reviewing conflict checks using our conflicts software (like Intapp).
- Looking into companies and individuals to identify any possible conflicts.
- Doing research to figure out things like whether matters are still open, what roles certain parties played, and if we’ve dealt with similar issues before.
- Digging into corporate relationships, like parent/subsidiary connections.
- Keeping our database up to date and sending results to the appropriate people.
- Preparing and sending waiver letters when needed.
- Jumping in on other research and projects as they come up.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of experience in a law firm doing conflicts work or legal assistance.
- Familiarity with conflicts software (experience with Intapp is a big plus).
- Understanding of conflicts rules and how they work in a legal setting.
- Great attention to detail and solid research and analytical skills.
- Strong communication – written and verbal – and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and working under tight deadlines.
- Dependable, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; open to learning new tools.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
