Compensation 125-$145K 15% Bonus
LOCATION: Woodland Hills, CA (Onsite)- occassional weekends as needed- can take subsequent time off if overtime worked
REPORTS TO: CFO
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time
SYSTEMS:
POS (Aloha), Sage Intacct (recently implemented), Paycom, MarginEdge (AP)
Preferred: Sage Intacct; Paycom experience is a plus
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

Position Overview
This individual will oversee daily accounting operations and play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across a multi-location environment.
The ideal candidate brings a strong technical accounting foundation along with hands-on experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or consumer retail industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, cash management, and fixed assets
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial variance analyses
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
- Support external audits, internal audits, and tax-related processes
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Mentor and develop accounting staff, as applicable
- Assist with strategic initiatives including M&A activity and potential IPO readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA (active or in progress) strongly preferred
- 5–15 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in hospitality, restaurant, F&B, or multi-unit retail environments highly preferred
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Sage Intacct or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and revenue recognition within hospitality
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and high-integrity mindset
