TITLE: Accounting Manager
SALARY: $120,000–$145,000
LOCATION: Marina del Rey, CA
SCHEDULE: 100% onsite with a flexible schedule and occasional work-from-home as needed.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accounting Manager will partner with the Director of Accounting to lead the month-end close process, improve accounting procedures, maintain balance sheet integrity, and support inventory, COGS, intercompany accounting, and tax compliance in a growing CPG environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
• Drive process improvements and standardize accounting procedures.
• Partner with FP&A, Operations, and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Mentor Staff Accountants while remaining hands-on in daily accounting operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year of leadership.
• Strong GL and month-end close experience.
• Experience with process improvements; CPG, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred.
