Property Manager – South Brooklyn
Full-time | $100K–$110K | Excellent Benefits & PTO | Fridays Off at 2 PM
Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support the General Property Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations at a large, 60-year-old South Brooklyn property.This role combines hands-on management, resident relations, and project coordination in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily property operations to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Support large-scale capital projects such as roof replacements, elevator modernizations, parking lot repairs, and laundry facility upgrades.
- Manage smaller maintenance issues, including plumbing, mold remediation, and fixture repairs.
- Handle resident concerns (noise complaints, package theft, etc.) with professionalism and care.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effective work.
- Track maintenance schedules and project timelines for timely completion.
- Provide administrative support, documentation, and communication for property transactions (purchases, sales, transfers, and legal matters).
You’ll start by learning the property and managing key projects, with future responsibilities tailored to your strengths.

Qualifications
- 5 years of property management experience in large Co-op/Condo buildings (300 units).
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Yardi software.
- Bilingual - Russian is preferred, not required.
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance, or construction is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
