About the Role
A leading commercial interiors contractor is seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator to join their growing team. This position is fully in-office and focuses on detailed, hands-on estimating work for a variety of commercial drywall projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical proficiency, a background in drywall and framing estimating, and comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive takeoffs for drywall framing, equipment and materials, wallboard and plasterboard, and custom millwork
- Prepare accurate, competitive estimates using PlanSwift and OnScreen Takeoff
- Participate in daily bid reviews and client scope meetings
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment between estimating and project requirements
- Support the preparation of bid proposals and documentation as needed
- Occasionally conduct site visits, though this role is primarily in-office
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in drywall estimating is required
- Proficiency with PlanSwift and OnScreen Takeoff
- Strong understanding of materials, labor, and construction methodologies related to drywall and interior framing
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $100,000–$140,000, depending on experience
