📍 Delray Beach, FL (Onsite | Monday–Friday)
🕒 Flexible Schedule: 7–4, 8–5, or 9–6
💰 $70K–$80K (based on experience) discretionary bonus generous benefits
A privately owned, well-established construction company in Delray Beach is looking for an experienced Construction Accountant to join their team.
This is a hands-on role within a stable organization where you’ll gain exposure across multiple areas of construction finance and play a key role in day-to-day operations.
🔑 What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, job costing, purchasing, and project accounting
- Working closely with a team of 8 accounting professionals
- Working with financials including balance sheet and income statement
- Assisting with and adapting to an ERP transition
- Contributing as a true “doer” — this is not a supervisory/delegation role
✅ What They’re Looking For
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Construction accounting experience required (GC or subcontractor)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (conversion/migration experience is a big advantage)
- Strong understanding of core accounting functions (AP, AR, job costing, financials)
- Someone adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Ability to take feedback, problem-solve, and operate independently
