Talent Corps is seeking a dependable, highly organized Transportation Coordinator / National Account Support professional to support our nationwide operations. This is a hands-on position that combines transportation logistics, nationwide travel, customer support, and coordination with our National Accounts team.
Approximately 45% travel across the United States is required. The individual in this role must be comfortable driving a Ford F-350 truck and towing a 20-foot trailer for extended distances and multi-state trips. Travel may include supporting trade shows, conventions, job fairs, recruiting events, client engagements, and other company initiatives.
When not traveling, this position will work from the Talent Corps corporate office in Plano, Texas, supporting the National Account Manager, recruiting, sourcing, operational coordination, and other national account initiatives.
Talent Corps provides full per diem and covers approved business travel expenses, including lodging/hotel accommodations, meals, fuel, and other authorized travel-related expenses in accordance with company policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the movement of company-owned vehicles and trailers throughout the United States based on operational needs.
- Drive a Ford F-350 truck and safely tow a 20-foot trailer throughout the United States.
- Travel approximately 45% of the time, including overnight and multi-state travel.
- Transport company vehicles, trailers, equipment, and materials to designated locations.
- Support company participation at trade shows, conventions, job fairs, recruiting events, client events, and other national initiatives.
- Plan routes, schedules, travel arrangements, and multi-state delivery timelines.
- Communicate transportation plans, changes, schedules, and updates to internal teams.
- Monitor vehicle and trailer availability, assignments, utilization, and status.
- Maintain accurate records related to vehicle assignments, movements, mileage, expenses, and transportation activity.
- Anticipate and resolve logistical issues using sound independent judgment and discretion.
- Ensure vehicles and trailers are operated safely and in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.
- Provide direct support to the National Account Manager and National Accounts team.
- Assist with transportation and logistical needs associated with national accounts and client engagements.
- Support customer communications related to scheduling, transportation, logistics, and company activities.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers when directed.
- Assist with follow-up, documentation, and coordination to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Collaborate with Operations, Recruiting, Sales, and Leadership teams to support national initiatives.
- When working from the Plano corporate office, assist with recruiting support, candidate sourcing, résumé review, job assignments, and other National Accounts activities as needed.
- Prepare reports, summaries, expense documentation, and updates related to transportation and National Account activity.
- Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency, scheduling, and account-support processes.
- Ensure adherence to Talent Corps policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Travel & Expense Support
Because nationwide travel is an essential function of this position, Talent Corps provides travel support in accordance with company policy, including:
- Full per diem for approved business travel
- Hotel/lodging expenses
- Meals while traveling
- Fuel and approved vehicle-related expenses
- Other authorized business travel expenses
Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel, overnight stays, changing schedules, extended driving periods, and travel to locations throughout the United States.
Requirements
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, fleet coordination, operations, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean/acceptable DMV driving record.
- Must be comfortable and capable of safely operating a Ford F-350 and towing a 20-foot trailer.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 45% nationwide, including overnight and multi-day trips.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage routes, schedules, priorities, and changing logistical needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to professionally represent Talent Corps at client sites, job fairs, trade shows, conventions, and other events.
- Ability to work effectively with Operations, Recruiting, Sales, National Accounts, and Leadership.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate transportation and expense documentation.
- Commitment to safe driving practices and compliance with all Talent Corps safety policies.
