Job Title: Low Voltage Technician / Electrician (Commercial Construction)
Location: Stadium Project (Commercial New Construction Site), Columbia SC
Pay Rate: $30/HR
Schedule: 7AM - 4PM Monday - Friday
Job Overview:
Talent Corps is seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians / Electricians to support the installation of new audio systems throughout a stadium project. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced commercial construction environment, with a focus on running wiring, installing audio equipment, and ensuring proper system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and conceal low voltage wiring throughout the stadium
- Install and configure audio systems across multiple areas
- Mount speakers, amplifiers, and related equipment
- Connect systems to media centers, control rooms, or press boxes
- Ensure all installations meet project specifications and safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of low voltage experience
- Proven experience installing low voltage electrical and audio systems
- Commercial construction job site experience required
- Familiarity with fiber optic cable, Cat6, coaxial cable, and related systems
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Must have own tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Experience working on large-scale projects (e.g., stadiums, arenas, or similar)
Work Environment:
- Active commercial construction site
- May require working at heights, lifting equipment, and working in varying weather conditions
