Location: Laurel, MDType: Full-Time | Long-Term OpportunityWe’re seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Electrical Lead to be the right-hand man to our Electrical Foreman on a ground-up restaurant build in Laurel, MD. This is a long-term project with the potential for continued work on future builds.As the Electrical Lead, you’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring clear communication between the field and office, and handling leadership and administrative responsibilities when the Foreman is off-site.Responsibilities:Support the Electrical Foreman in coordinating and leading daily jobsite activities.Act as the primary point of contact for the office when the Foreman is unavailable.Communicate material needs, scheduling updates, and progress reports.Lead small crews and ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and components.Perform pipe bending (1⁄2”–4”), run MC cable, and install panels, switchgear, and lighting controls.Work with motor controls, low-voltage wiring, HVAC wiring, and fire alarm systems.Maintain and repair existing electrical infrastructure as needed.Qualifications:5 years of experience as an Electrician in commercial construction.Lead or Foreman experience highly preferred.Strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills.Experience with lighting/motor controls, switchgear, and low-voltage systems.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.OSHA 10 requiredValid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
