Talent Consultants is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Nurse Officer (CNO) to provide strategic leadership and direction for nursing services across our client surgical center. The CNO will collaborate with senior leadership to establish an organizational culture that prioritizes excellent patient care quality and safety. This role involves oversight of nursing practice, staffing, education, and professional development, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with regulatory standards.
As the Chief Nurse Officer, you will serve as the primary advocate for nurses within the organization, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation while advancing nursing policies and initiatives. The CNO will also be instrumental in developing nursing protocols, optimizing patient flow, improving operational efficiencies, and spearheading quality improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field required; Doctorate in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in nursing management or executive roles.
- Strong clinical background in nursing with comprehensive knowledge of clinical operations and healthcare regulations.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful nursing strategies that enhance patient care outcomes and staff engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to interact effectively with all levels of staff, medical staff, and community stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire nursing teams, facilitating a culture of excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and resource allocation.

- Membership and active participation in nursing organizations preferred.
