About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced and mission-driven PACE Center Director to lead the
daily operations of a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Center and
associated Alternative Care Settings (ACS). This senior leadership role is responsible for
operational performance, strategic execution, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes,
participant satisfaction, and interdisciplinary team effectiveness.
 
Position Summary
The PACE Center Director serves as the site leader for the assigned PACE Center and
Alternative Care Settings (ACS), reporting directly to the Executive Director. This position
oversees clinic operations, rehabilitation, social services, transportation, dietary services,
day center operations, home care, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure operational
excellence and participant-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
 
Operational Leadership
• Provide overall leadership and accountability for center operations, participant
experience, quality outcomes, and operational performance.
• Oversee daily operations across all service lines.
• Monitor enrollment, staffing, operational metrics, and center capacity.
• Ensure consistent implementation of policies, procedures, and workflows.
Team Leadership & Development
• Supervise department managers and operational leaders.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and leadership development.
• Ensure leaders achieve departmental goals and performance expectations.

Quality, Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
• Ensure compliance with CMS, PACE, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead operational readiness for audits and surveys.
• Oversee quality improvement, infection control, emergency preparedness, participant
rights, and risk management.

Interdisciplinary Team Leadership
• Support effective interdisciplinary team workflows and participant care planning.
• Promote communication and coordination across clinical and operational departments.
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.

Strategic Planning & Financial Management
• Participate in strategic planning and program growth initiatives.
• Manage departmental budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Support enrollment growth and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing,
Social Work, Public Health, or related healthcare field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in healthcare, senior care, managed care,
home health, or integrated care settings.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Valid California Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree (MHA, MBA, MPH, or related field).
• PACE or integrated care experience preferred.
• Experience serving frail elderly populations.
• Professional healthcare licensure preferred.
