What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead grading, drainage, stormwater, erosion control, and permitting for land development projects

Oversee technical design work using AutoCAD (Carlson preferred) and HydroCAD
-
Review and prepare construction drawings, calculations, and permit submissions (including NHDES AoT)

Collaborate directly with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers

Conduct occasional site visits and represent the firm at evening planning board or public meetings

5–10 years of experience in civil/site design and permitting

BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an accredited university

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and civil design tools (HydroCAD, Carlson, etc.)

PE license strongly preferred (NH stamp ideal)

Familiarity with New Hampshire permitting processes (especially AoT)

Ability to lead meetings, write reports, and communicate clearly both internally and externally

Open to learning new tools and approaches

Comfortable being in-office most of the week, with flexibility as needed
